Morocco Surf Camp 2015

WAYOUT ADVENTURES in collaboration with IKARIA SURF SCHOOL organized the first Greek Surf Trip, in Morocco and the waves of the Atlantic.

Easter of 2015 was very beautiful and special for WAYOUT Adventures and its friends. 33 Greeks went to Morocco, from April 8th to April 16th, on an unprecedented, for Greece, surf trip.

Our base was a beautiful hotel just outside Taghazout called Maroc Surf Camp. The daily exploration of the southwestern coastline of Morocco, as well as the search for beautiful beaches and impressive waves on the Atlantic coast, was the source of joy and euphoria for each and every one of the participants.

Training in waves and surfing techniques was undertaken by the Ikaria Surf School with Head Coach Isidoros Plytas. Participants were divided from day one into groups based on skills, in order for the lessons to be tailored to the needs of each group.

We also did 3 very beautiful excursions to ancient cities, where we had the opportunity to see and heed the rhythms of Moroccan life. All participants made great improvements in surfing as well as their overall connection with the wet element and the water environment.

Thank you very much for your trust. We launched a new tradition of Adventure Trips, in the most beautiful way. Also, we especially thank Nikon Greece for supporting our trip by providing the appropriate photographic equipment, ideal to cope with the special conditions of such an Adventure Trip.
