Morocco Surf Trip

Highlights

Bazaars, mosques, palaces, colors, fragrances, smiles and expressive black eyes hidden behind the chador, chatty Arabs and mysterious Berbers, desert, palaces, the magical East. A colorful country, with modern as well as medieval cities, beautiful gardens, high mountains, big waves and a vast desert. We have chosen a trip to southern Morocco, where mass tourism and crowds fade out and are replaced by the vast Atlantic coastline, tranquil atmosphere and picturesque settlements.

Agadir

Our trip will start from Agadir where our flight is to land. Agadir is a large city on the Atlantic Ocean coast in Central Morocco, perfect for those looking for sun and sea even in the heart of winter. From there we will drive to Taghazout village.

Taghazout

Tagazut, is a small fishermen's village, 19 km north of Agadir. It is considered a favorite place for those who surf, since the waves on its shores, as well as the mysterious, evocative landscape, make it a unique destination. In the wider area there are over 15 different spots enabling surfers of all levels to enjoy the waves and improve their technique.

Essaouira

Essaouira is a city on the southwestern side of Morocco, known since the 11th century, as a center of commerce. Characteristic is the presence of the ancient market of the city as well as the emblematic walls within which it is enclosed. Essaouira is 140 km from Taghazout, and we will visit it on a day trip.

Itinerary

Το ταξίδι μας θα ξεκινήσει από το Αγκαντίρ όπου θα προσγειωθεί η πτήση μας. Το Αγκαντίρ είναι μία μεγάλη πόλη στα παράκτια του Ατλαντικού Ωκεανού στο Κεντρικό Μαρόκο, ιδανικό για όσους αναζητούν ήλιο και θάλασσα ακόμα και στην καρδιά του χειμώνα. Στη συνέχεια θα μεταφερθούμε με van στο χωριό Taghazout.

Την βάση μας θα αποτελέσει το Ταγκαζούτ είναι ένα μικρό χωριό ψαράδων 19 χλμ βόρεια του Αγκαντίρ, και εντοπίζεται στη νοτιοδυτική πλευρά του Μαρόκο. Συγκαταλέγεται στις αγαπημένες τοποθεσίες κάθε λάτρη του surf, μίας και τα κύματα που δημιουργούνται στις ακτές του καθώς το μυστηριώδες τοπίο το καθιστούν μοναδικό προορισμό.

Στην ευρύτερη περιοχή υπάρχουν πάνω από 15 διαφορετικά σημεία για σερφ δίνοντας την δυνατότητα σε surfers κάθε επιπέδου να απολαύσουν τα κύματα και να βελτιωθούν.

Η Εσσαούιρα είναι πόλη στη Νοτιοδυτική πλευρά του Μαρόκο, γνωστή από τον 11ο αιώνα καθώς αποτελούσε κέντρο εμπορίου και απέχει 140 χλμ από το Taghazout. Χαρακτηριστικό είναι η ύπαρξη της Αρχαίας αγοράς της πόλης καθώς και οι εμβληματικοί τοίχοι μέσα στους οποίους περιβάλλεται.

Το ημερήσιο πρόγραμμα μας περιλαμβάνει 2 ώρες διδασκαλίας στο surf (All levels) ανά ημέρα, από τους πιστοποιημένους εκπαιδευτές της WayOut Adventures, του Greek Surf Academy και του Ikaria Surf School, άφθονες στιγμές χαλάρωσης στην παραλία καθώς και κάποιες ομαδικές εκδρομές σε σημεία ενδιαφέροντος της περιοχής.

Πέραν των ωρών διδασκαλίας οι συμμετέχοντες θα έχουν προσωπικό χρόνο να προγραμματίσουν εκδρομές και επισκέψεις στα διάφορα αξιοθέατα του νησιού ανεξάρτητα από την υπόλοιπη ομάδα.
